Does anyone else cringe....

Does anyone else cringe when you are reading an email or a blog post or a forum post and the poster makes several grammatical errors consistently when they're typing?  I don't mean like they forgot a comma here or there or something minor, but when they make significant mistakes.  Let's talk about the ones that make me want to gauge my eyeballs out...

  1. When you think of the conjunction should've or would've, it actually means should have or would have, not should of or would of.
  2. Lose (with one "o") means something you have lost.  Loose (with two "o"s) means something that is not tight.  For example:  you do not loose your keys, and your clothes do not get lose when you loose weight.
  3. The word congratulations does not have a "D" anywhere in it.  So do not write "congrads".  It should be "congrats" if you're going to shorten it.
I'm sure there are more, but I've seen those three a LOT lately.  Just know that if you are guilty of any of those, I'm not gonna lie, I probably judged you.  That's not to say that I think people that make silly mistakes on and off are stupid.  Just the people that make the SAME ones over and over and over again.
