Deployment To-Dos

James is leaving tonight for another 2 week deployment to D.C. and I'm trying hard not to look at it as 2 weeks away from each other and instead look at it as 2 weeks to get tons of stuff done while he's away.  From now going forward, I'm going to make a list of things I want to get done while he's gone on deployment.  Here's the list.

1.)   Organize the closet in the master bedroom so that everything has a home and things are easy to get to and easy to put away.  (This has been my biggest struggle with keeping the bedroom neat.  Because the closet is not organized efficiently, I end up not ever putting my clean laundry away and clothes end up everywhere.)

2.)   Organize the master bedroom so that there is minimal "stuff" visible and it has an actual style instead of just mish mosh.  (I really would like our bedroom to look very simple and uncluttered.  It's been slowly getting that way, but I'd really like it to be totally finished when he gets home.)

3.)   Organize the laundry room.  (This one's not too bad, I'd just like it to be a little prettier.  It's just white and plain at the moment and I want to make it a little more homey)

If I can accomplish these three things, I might add a few more.  So I'm kinda secretly hoping I can get those three done in the first week so that I can move on to some more.  I'll post before and after pics of both.
