New Bed!
Yay! James and I finally bought a bed! As of January 2nd I will no longer have to sleep on the futon!
We bought a king size Simmons Beautyrest. We got a KILLER deal! We were looking at the NEX furniture store and we had narrowed it down to a few, but they were still gonna be like $1300 (just for the mattress, we don't need a boxspring because we're getting a platform bedframe). So we were just going to wait a little longer. But then we noticed a room that people were coming out of and the sign on the door said sale merchandise. So we go in and there's one of the mattresses we were looking at for like $500! It turned out it was brand new with the original plastic still on it. The people who bought it decided that the king was too big and returned it. So we bought it for $500!

That's great you got such an awesome deal! I'm glad you two went for the King. We wish we had, but with our little apartment we're better off waiting a few years until we have a house before upgrading to a larger bed.

Oh! Very nice! Steven and I have been eying the tempupedics. Mostly because we cannot agree on a mattress firmness. I doubt that we'll get our dream bed for so cheap. I'm so glad you won't be on the futon anymore. Yay!
