Dance Update

Today I took ballet class with Minou like I do every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday morning...and there was a guy in our class that I hadn't seen before. He was pretty good and looked like he was probably a professional ballet dancer. Well after class he came over to me and introduced himself. His name was Peter. He told me that he was very impressed with my dancing and he asked me where I trained and whatnot, then he asked if I had done anything other than ballet. He then told me that he had a company and is always looking for new dancers. So he gave me his card...it turns out, he's the artistic director of Tau Dance Theater! The biggest professional dance company in Hawaii! They're mostly modern based, but they do some ballet and some contemporary and also some native Hawaiian stuff. So I'm REALLY excited! I don't know when his next show is, but I'll keep you all posted on how stuff develops.
